Talent is not underestimated…

Since yesterday, I have been thinking about Ilyas Safarov’s departure from “Kun.uz”, or rather, his dismissal. I had a couple of things to write, but I ran out of time. But I did not see depression in Ilyas himself. Maybe he himself does not realize that this is a big event.

Ilyos Safarov

The resignation of the leading employee of the country’s leading media is a big blow to freedom of speech. We will see the impact of the strike in the next few months. It is not only Kun.uz that has lost, it is a big loss in the press. It was the same when Anora Sodikova left.

Keeping the balance of freedom of speech and maintaining it is an extremely complicated process. In any government, there are layers that do not like this value. But the thickening of this layer in society is disastrous. Especially if the pseudo guardians of the press become stronger in the government.

We called some of the bloggers and journalists illiterate, and we made some of them crazy. We turned a blind eye to those who were imprisoned, and threw stones at those who escaped. Now it’s the turn of the professionals.

In the fairy tales, poshsho dry those who oppose first, then those who remain silent, and finally those who cannot praise enough. I don’t know, what kind do we have?!

Talent does not stay on the street. My young friend is a very motivated and brave journalist. I have lusted after him many times. We discussed many topics together with him, and there were times when we received applause. We also saw clenched fists.

Today, I feel that we are more simple and trusting. Now why are you in such a mood…
