The next congress of “Ezgulik” society was held

On December 24, the next Congress of the “Ezgulik” society of human rights of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent. Representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of NGOs and mass media participated in the congress.

According to the Charter of the Society, important issues such as electing members of the Central Board of the Society, Chairman and Deputies of the Board, listening to the audit commission’s report are discussed at the Congress, which is the highest body of the organization.

At the congress, the report of the heads of regional departments, the chairman and deputy of the Central Board, the Sanyatek, and the inspection commission was heard. The participants of the congress found the reports satisfactory, and then the organizational issue was discussed.

According to the charter, the chairmen of the regional departments and the chairman of the Central administration, his deputies, the chief lawyer-consultant were elected as members of the Central administration. A. Tashanov was appointed the chairman of the Central Board of the Society, and Sh. Mirzaaliyeva was elected from among alternative candidates.

Other issues related to the society’s activities were discussed at the congress.
